Comunidades Inteligentes

Description

The Smart Communities project aims to install connectivity for the Lenca indigenous community of Azacualpa, in the municipality of Yamaranguila, La Esperanza, Honduras, in order to increase its educational and economic development. Its purpose is to contribute to one of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs, 2030), specifically Goal 9.c, which consists of significantly increasing access to information and communication technologies and striving to provide universal internet access for low income countries by 2020. Connectivity can contribute positively to overcome the community’s recurring limitations.
