E-Health Espírito Santo


Description

E-Health Espírito Santo is part of The National Telehealth Brazil Networks Program, which was established through the Ordinance of the Ministry of Health nº 35 of January 2007, and is coordinated by the Secretariats of Labor and Health Education (SGTES) and Health Care (SAS).
It enables the strengthening and improvement of the quality of primary care services in the Unified Health System (SUS), integrating Permanent Health Education (EPS) and health care support through information and communication technologies (ICT) tools and technologies. It is constituted by State, Intermunicipal and Regional Nuclei, that develop and offer specific services for professionals and workers of the SUS. Telehealth ES is a collaborative network that assists health professionals working in Primary Health Care (PHC). The registered professional benefits from the direct contact with the state technical references and specialists; The support provided by teleconsulting services, web-sites, courses and other tele-education products enables a permanent updating of the professional on PHC topics, qualifies the health care offered to the population served, increasing the resolution of PHC and reducing unnecessary referrals.
