Description

Shbabeek ‘ICT4Girls’ Program: This program is a designed competition that directs 100 young girls from different backgrounds to become active and productive on ICT related fields. The Idea: Training the Yemeni girls in the age group 17 to 22 years in the fields of technology that helps her develop her abilities and enables her to exploit the energy she has; this is to enhance her direction in life and her entrepreneurial side. The competition consists of two stages Phase 1: Providing concentrated training program on: video and photo editing, photography, blogging, digital security, website building, and digital marketing. Phase2: Creating 10 different teams that generate 10 business ideas that compete for a micro fund and incubation period in Corner Stone to convert their business idea into a startup. Target group: Yemeni girl aged 17-22 years in both Sana'a and Aden with a simple background in technical fields. Program Period: 27 March - 30 May 2017 in Sana'a. 27 September - 30 November 2017 in Aden.
