In Vietnam, gender equality has improved a lot over the years. However, in rural areas, ethnic minority areas, gender equality has not yet been addressed. The role of women is not yet appreciated in the family and society. Women who are not educated at higher levels of study or whose social interests are overlooked. In addition, the views on gender equality in each family are different. This affects the thinking of children as they grow up. We need to have educational programs on gender equality in the community, especially in rural areas, mountainous areas, ethnic minorities. I joined the organization as YouthSpark Microsoft Vietnam to carry out many programs for women in ethnic minority areas, such as "Dream Boat", "Technology Fellowship for Women". We create opportunities for the community to understand the role of women in society as well as women who struggle for their own interests in society. I am also the founder of the Vietnamese teacher community with nearly 6,000 members, of which 80% are female teachers. I regularly organize training sessions, seminars to improve the level of femle teachers, help they learn confidence in society.
