Launched in 2015, Girls Go Tech is a year-long school-based programme that aims to encourage junior secondary school girls from under-privileged backgrounds to pursue traditionally male-dominated STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) related subjects to maximise their future career options.

The Women's Foundation (TWF) is a non-profit organization dedicated to improving the lives of women and girls in Hong Kong, and is modelled on the best similar organisations around the world. We aspire to conduct groundbreaking research, run impactful and innovative community programmes, and engage in education and advocacy in the pursuit of three main goals: * Challenging gender stereotypes * Empowering women in poverty to achieve a better quality of life for themselves and their families * Increasing the number of women in policy and decision-making and leadership roles

The key elements of our model can be distilled down to action based on empirical research, the leveraging of government, institutional, academic, business, media and other resources on a collaborative basis to drive change, and rigorous independent impact assessment.
