Czechitas is the leading platform in the Czech Republic making technology accessible, relevant, and attainable for women and girls in their professional and personal goals, regardless of age groups, education level, or work experience. We provide lectures, workshops and long-term courses on programming, web development, graphic design, digital marketing, and data analytics all at low-cost to participants. Our trainings have influenced thousands of women who have opted to choose or change their career paths, using their new technical skills to advance themselves. Our unique platform connects employers interested in gender diversity for their teams, with talented women searching for new roles. We also inspire young people to pursue their interests in IT throughout their academic and professional lives. In addition to workshops and courses held during the school year, we also host IT summer camps. And we give voice on broader issues concerning women and technology through our participation in public forums, and consultations for the private, NGO, and public sectors. Czechitas helps girls and women to take the first steps towards tech knowledge and guides them along their digital journeys. If they continue to pursue work opportunities or studies in tech fields, our mission is accomplished. But we also stay connected, and engage our community to helping others find their way in an increasingly digital world.
