The Nucleus of Telehealth - NUTES is the Digital Health Unit of the Hospital das Clínicas (HC) of the Federal University of Pernambuco (UFPE). It is dedicated to the teaching, research and development of projects and actions for the application of Information and Communication Technologies (ICTs) in the health area. Started in 2007, it is a project that aims to improve the quality of health services provided to the population through telehealth. It is part of the Telehealth Brazil Program of the Ministry of Health, coordinated by the SGTES. NUTES was established through Regulatory Ordinance No. 17 of September 29, 2003 and inaugurated in HC on October 31, 2003. Our goal is to coordinate and execute actions related to IT in health, contributing to the strengthening of the health system by research and development of innovative technological solutions.
