Ghana Code Club


Description

The Girls in ICT project was initiated on the ticket of the Ministry of Communication. Ghana Code Club facilitated the project by first of all teaching teachers the basic rudiments of Programming Logic and also programming using SCRATCH and HTML in the most basic form. This served as a platform from which over 250 girls from various schools in the Ashanti Regioned were trained in these computational skills with support from Ghana Code Club. In the end the objective was to get the girls grounded enough to make simple applications and Web pages.
