WSIS Prizes Contest 2019 Nominee

Unima

Description

We work to take diagnostics out of the lab
and into resource limited settings,
even to the most remote areas.

Our goal is to solve the problem of lack
of access to timely diagnostic regardless
of where you live and your ability to pay.

OUR TECHNOLOGY
We developed a fast and low cost diagnostic and disease surveillance technology for diseases which allow doctors, nurses and community health workers to diagnose diseases directly at the point of care, in less than 15 minutes, without the use of any lab equipment and at a very low cost.

IN THREE SIMPLE STEPS
Taking a drop of blood
Putting a drop of blood in a diagnostic paper device
Taking a picture of the device with an app in a smartphone
