Talleres de Computacion

Description

The Sentido Foundation seeks to develop the necessary skills for the insertion of children and young people between 12 and 18 years old who are or have been institutionalized and who participate or have participated in outpatient programs of the National Service for Minors (Sename) in Chile. These children and young people come from contexts of extreme poverty and social vulnerability and have suffered violations of their rights, being removed from parental care by family courts, coming to reside in SENAME protection centers and / or participate in their programs. In response to their situation, Fundacion Sentido seeks to offer them a comprehensive training model that prepares them for independent living, strengthening self-concept, autonomy, will, and projection. Among the workshops and training that take place are the computer workshops. The foundation carries out We conducted 2 computer workshops each semester with 10 participants each. Each workshop lasts 1.5 hours and is held once a week. We achieved coverage of 40 children and young people each year.
