The current project's aim is to provide safe and secure deliveries for expectant mothers’ healthcare using ICTs. This project targets country with high fetal mortality rate and by spreading this platform, we expect to strengthen the perinatal care condition by partnering with local medical facilities and organization. So far, this project has intervened into countries like Thailand, Myanmar, and Republic of South Africa to run a test phase. This platform can monitor fetal condition virtually from anywhere, which enables professionals to check the expectant mother and fetus condition and decide the emergency transportation of expectant mothers in a critical condition more rapidly. Moreover, regions with few numbers of doctors are utilizing this scheme to its advantage, allocating human resources more efficiently. Within Thailand, our scheme is now being tested throughout Chiang Mai prefecture as a result of Chiang Mai prefecture's recognition of this project as a prospective and beneficial scheme.

We can replicate this project in any given countries that have high fetal mortality rate and the government is wishing to decrease the mortality rate.
This platform is highly sustainable, because of its flexibility to fit into different regulations and agendas. The rechargeable and mobile device is user-friendly, which can be used in remote and rural areas with no internet network and electricity. It is also paperless, which is a huge difference from conventional devices used in a hospital.
WSIS promotes close linkages with achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Our project is striving to achieve SDGs, especially goal number 3, to ensure healthy lives and promote well-being for all at all ages. Target 3.1 and 3.2 are exactly what we are working on, making this project promoting WSIS value to use ICT to enable development.
