This application was created and developed by three Guatemalans: José Gálvez, Luis Sierra and Hsing-Li Chang. They created this platform that allows to monitor the school bus route, in order to provide to the parents, the opportunity to know and track in real time the trajectory of their children on their way to school. Besides, it allows parents to know the arrival time of the school bus to their home, which allows them to better organize their time. With this application parents feel more confident about where their children are, and also it can help them for avoid delays and the possibility that the kids can be late for take the school bus.
Schoolbuzz is not used just by parents, it is also designed so that schools have a better and greater control in the transportation service they use for transport their students. At the moment, several educational establishment has already joined the project.
