Punto México Conectado Program

Description

The Mexican government through the “Puntos México Conectado” Program aims to bridge the digital divide and enhance broadband internet access for all Mexicans, in order to maximize the endless possibilities it has to offer. With one center operating in each state of Mexico, 32 in total, which are located in marginalized areas with high poverty rates, the “Puntos México Conectado” Program provides digital literacy, programing, coding, innovation and entrepreneurship courses free of charge to enable a greater digital inclusion and generate better-informed and more community-involved citizens. Likewise, this Program promotes the creation of more efficient and productive micro, small and medium enterprises throughout the country.
