The project laid 1028 km optical cable along the pipelines, through the five provinces, where have complex topography and have high environmental requirements. In case of remote sites, cable routing is required to cross the river and the dam frequently, which should be scheduled. From this perspective, a lot of new technology was invented by engineers. This project applied communication project to water conservancy projects firstly. The blank of long distance communication project acceptance have been filled in water conservancy. The story of this project can be copy so that other countries or communities can use it easily.
