The CHIFA system is considered an innovative project based on the use of advanced technology “chip card” named Chifa card. It is one of the modernization measures of the management of social insurances, improving the quality of services provided to insured persons and their dependents and partners, and the preservation of financial balances of the social security organizations.
The project "CHIFA System" is based on two main areas:
-The first is based on the electronic health card called CHIFA, network infrastructure deployed nationwide, a central database, a production site CHIFA card and proprietary applications for health professionals.
-The second is related to high availability CHIFA system, through the establishment of backup sites and duplication of connectivity.
Under government strategies for simplification and facilitation of administrative procedures in favor of the insured persons, the CHIFA system has evolved on remote updating CHIFA cards among health professionals.
