PLIP builds communities ICT skills in 23 developing and transition countries

Description

More than 7,500 people in 23 countries in Africa, Asia, Latin America and Europe have benefited from ICT training in local libraries. Their new competences are helping women and girls, subsistence farmers, youth, those suffering from ill health or are unemployed, and many other disadvantaged communities, to find jobs, do better in school, live healthier lives, improve farming, be socially and economically included. Since 2010 EIFL PLIP supports sustainable information access and learning opportunities to communities in developing countries, thereby enabling them to improve lives.
