This project targets following objectives:-Eradication of info-tech illiteracy in villages and rural areas.-Encouraging rural population to use e-government.-Putting info-tech at the disposal of this segment to help improve their lives.- Raising awareness of this segment of population helps the overall strategy of achieving information society.- Basic IT training is offered free of charge for rural and low-income people. Pupils in higher grades of elementary and intermediate schools are targeted as well.- Bridging the digital gap. After more than 12 months in operation, it is achieving heartening results nationwide.
