Established in 2015, the WIOTC is a forward-looking and leading global conference aimed at promoting the World IoT economy and has successfully held 5 annual conferences and 100 international meetings.
The goal is to make the endeavor to build the IoT and achieve economic development, deliver benefits to the people in terms of smart life and production and make a contribution to the UN SDGs.
1.It has proposed that the IoT is an ecological network combining digitization, informationization, and intelligence and that it is the attribute and definition of a global new economic carrier in which the digital economy and the real economy as well as a new generation of information technology are deeply integrated. Meanwhile, it has originally created the concept and cognition of "Smart Revolution".
2.It has planned the framework of the new economic system composed of 17 fields including the industry, agriculture, etc.
3.It has introduced the new economic framework model of the IoT with visualized real-time tracking+retrospective+commercial customization and the direction of the sustainable development of the IoT.
4.It has created and developed the world IoT connect operating system and the IoT trade shopping architecture.
5.Released the "World IoT White Paper" & " Beijing Declaration on the World IoT".
6.Established the "Top 500 World IoT".
7.Opened the online "IoT World Fair".
The WIOTC has received active attention and participation from more than 100 countries, regional governments; representatives of UN agencies have attended WIOTC’s annual conferences and delivered speeches in its activities; leaders of the EU, Philippines, France, and ISO, IEEE, CENELEC have sent congratulatory letters; it is attended by ambassadors, counselors, and diplomats from more than 30 countries and representatives of 4K leading IoT companies. It was reported by many national think tanks, and 1K of media worldwide. It has become the world's most cutting-edge and leading international organization and conference brand for the IoT.

Based upon its high-end and cutting-edge characteristics, WIOTC can steer the economic society into a fair and just era, continuously drive the development of IoT industry in all countries and regions, help to establish a IoT platform system and give boost to the innovative development of IoT new economy.

The WIOTC aims to promote the construction of IoT and economic development and assist the UN in realizing the goals of sustainable development. It will implement the goals of sustainable development in its conferences, carry out discussions on relevant areas and engage in the building of IoT new economy on the basis of sustainable development goals. The World Internet of Things Convention can organize global IoT companies and experts to join relevant activities of WSIS and ITU or only WSIS’s activities.
