ICTs and Gender Mainstreaming special track: Covid chk - Case Study- Innovative application created during emerging COVID-19 pandemic first wave.

MedRet Healthcare Ltd And GeoTechVision Enterprises

Session 248

14:00–15:00 (UTC+01:00), Friday, 12 March 2021 ICTs and Gender Mainstreaming Thematic Workshop

An AI based ICT solution for staff, communities and other stakeholders to initiate a behavioural change nurturing insights and mindfulness about individual as well as community health status.

This session will highlight the development of an AI based, cloud application developed by a collaboration between a health expert and technology group to offer a ICT based solution to the population of the Caribbean Islands.

The application gives a status of the overall health status built on strategically asked questions and a risk stratification. It also gives a risk estimate of individuals likelihood of having symptoms of Covid-19 infection.

The app has further features of covid related updates and infection rates in the geographical area which is entered by the individual. This can be useful for individuals or employers who have staff travelling to different locations to have a one stop resource that has such information.

We see this digital solution to be very useful for employers, insurance agencies, government agencies and other similar organisations who would like to white label this app to embed additional relevant features for their organisation to be downloaded by their employees.
