Mario Lois
Mario Lois Global Head & Sr. Director of A.I. for Women’s Health GE Healthcare

Mario Lois is the Global Head & Senior Director of A.I./Intelligent Solutions for GE Healthcare Women's Health business. In this role Mario leads GE Healthcare’s global strategy and efforts to develop and apply Artificial Intelligence (AI) into world-class solutions that improve screening, diagnosis and treatment of Breast Cancer (the most common cancer among women).

Mario brings a wealth of experience with a solid background across science, clinical applications, product management and business leadership.

He started his career in 1998 in the ultrasound diagnostic imaging industry, mainly focused on advanced image analysis and quantification technologies at HP Medical and Philips Healthcare global headquarters in Andover, MA (US).

Mario joined GE in 2003, and since then has held various international leadership roles at global and European level, including Europe General Manager for Vscan, EMEA Business/Product Manager for Compact Echocardiography, Global Director of Product Management, etc. More recently, in his prior role as Global General Manager for GE Healthcare Education Services, he built a global team and strategy to transform and digitize GE Healthcare’s customer education solutions, developing new digital platforms and innovative data-driven analytics for equipment utilization and outcomes optimization.

Mario holds an advanced degree in Theoretical Physics from Universidad Autonoma in Madrid (Spain), a certificate in Strategic Management from Harvard University in Cambridge, MA (US), and a recent specialization in Deep Learning for A.I. from Dr. Andrew Ng’s Deeplearning.ai.


Robert Freeman
Robert Freeman Vice President of Clinical Innovation Mount Sinai Health System

Robbie Freeman is the Vice President of Clinical Innovation at the Mount Sinai Health System. He is passionate about leveraging technology to improve quality, patient safety and care delivery. Over the past 9 years, Robbie has held several leadership roles within the Mount Sinai Health System (MSHS).  He is Co-Director of the Clinical Data Science Team, tasked with building predictive models that leverage AI to improve patient safety and hospital operations; to-date, the team has deployed predictive models addressing falls, patient deterioration, delirium, discharge planning and malnutrition.

Robbie is the administrator for the Mount Sinai Hospital Emergency Department, Express Care, and Respiratory Care Services, and also leads the Hospital of the Future initiative, which is centered on technology to keep patients digitally engaged. Robbie is the recipient of the New York Times Tribute to Nurses award for Technological Innovations and is a 2018 Aspen Institute Spotlight Health Scholar.

In 2016, Robbie completed the Clinical Quality Fellowship Program (CQFP) a program sponsored by Greater New York Hospital Association (GNYHA) and the United Hospital Fund (UHF) that teaches clinicians to lead quality improvement and patient safety initiatives. He holds a Master’s in Business Analytics from the NYU Stern School of Business, a B.S in Human Biology from the University at Albany, a M.S.N in Clinical Systems Management from Excelsior College and is a graduate of the Philips School of Nursing at Mount Sinai BI where he currently serves on the Board of Trustees.

 


Tatyana Kanzaveli
Tatyana Kanzaveli CEO Open Health Network Moderator

Tatyana Kanzaveli has gone from a programmer to senior executive at Big 5 to founder and CEO of a startup company along her 20 year career,recognized as a thought leader, mentor for her ability to guide Fortune 500 and startup companies through business challenges.

She’s worked for major companies like PricewaterhouseCoopers and Fujitsu and startups in the early days of the Web.
Tatyana has personally helped companies jump from 0 to millions in revenue even during the toughest economic times. She opened new verticals and markets.

Today she is the founder and CEO of Open Health Network, the startup in a Big Data, Blockchain and Artificial Intelligence in Healthcare space. PatientSphere by Open Health Network has been featured in Venture Beat, Mobile Health News, and other prominent publications.

She is a mentor at 500Startups and Richard Branson Entrepreneurs Centre and serves on boards for private companies. She also is licensee and organizer of highly notable TEDxBayArea conferences, she is a frequent speaker at US and International conferences on innovation, entrepreneurship and digital health.

Tatyana has been featured in the White House blog , spoke at the United Nations, presented at the first White House Demo Day hosted by the President Obama, did a TEDx talk; keynoted at WEBIT, WSIS and other international conferences.

Tatyana has been recognized as one of the top 10 Influential Women in Healthcare IT in 2015 and by Forbes as one of the top 50 women-led startup in tech founders.

Tatyana was USSR chess champion, played in the same team with Gary Kasparov, she loves to cook and kayak.

Maksim Tsvetovat
Maksim Tsvetovat CTO Open Health Network Moderator

Dr. Maksim Tsvetovat is a co-founder of Open Health Network, an AI-powered patient experience management platform. He is a Visiting Faculty Member at the George Washington University's School of Engineering and Applied Sciences, author of over 50 peer reviewed publications and a textbook in the fields of data science, artificial intelligence and simulation modeling.

Dr. Tsvetovat received his Ph.D. from Carnegie Mellon University's School of Computer Science and was previously on faculty at George Mason University. In his free time, such that it is, Dr. Tsvetovat races Ironman triathlons and plays in a rock band.


Prashant Natarajan
Prashant Natarajan Director of Analytics and Data Science Unum Group, United States

Prashant is a Director of Analytics and Data Science at Unum Group. He is a best-selling author on healthcare informatics and has served in global leadership roles spanning population health, clinical genomics, translational research, and other healthcare solutions for governments, hospitals, health insurers, and patients. 


Prior to joining Unum, Prashant was a Principal at Deloitte Consulting (Australia), Global Portfolio Director for Healthcare at Oracle Health Sciences (USA), Lead Analyst at McKesson, and Associate Consultant at Siemens (Asia, Europe, and Americas). 

He is an author of 4 books on technology, data and AI in health & human services and digital transformation. He is Co-Faculty at Stanford University School of Medicine, industry advisor to University of California San Francisco, and on the Board of Advisors at Louisiana Tech University’s Center for Health & Medical Communications. 


Prashant served as Chair of Innovation for HIMSS - Northern California, and is currently a Distinguished Fellow at the Center for Affordable Health Coverage where he focuses on health & technology policy, and making healthcare more affordable and accessible.
