Joint Business at OECD (BIAC) and OECD Panel

The joint session aims to create awareness of the substantive and thoughtful set of policy recommendations, principles and guidelines that the OECD has created on the digital economy (e.g., OECD Privacy Principles, Internet Policy Principles, Cancun Ministerial Declaration on the Digital Economy), and discuss how these can serve as a foundation for an enabling policy environment to realize the potential of the digital transformation and the Sustainable Development Goals and enhanced cooperation and partnership in the digital field towards this objective.

The session will also include presentations by government and business on leading technologies including artificial intelligence (AI), in the context of the overall objective of the panel and WSIS. event
