Information about the project
Detecting out of hospital cardiac arrest using artificial intelligence
This initiative between EENA and Corti will pilot AI support in 4 pilot sites to improve emergency medical service operations. There is strong need worldwide for real-time, innovative decision support and delivery methods to improve the quality and relevance of live detections made during emergency calls. The project will pilot AI technology which analyses live conversations and converts petabytes of dark data into live predictions. The technology promises to deliver up to 95% accuracy at detecting out of hospital cardiac arrests, reduce error rates of human call-takers and dispatchers, and make critical diagnoses faster to save lives.
International implementation
France, Germany, Italy, United Kingdom
Ongoing from 25/04/2018 to 12/04/2019
Partners: EENA (European Emergency Number Association) & Corti
