e-Dirham is the official electronic payment platform that facilitates the collection of revenues and service fees of governmental and semi-governmental institutions digitally cashless and almost paperless, adopting efficiency, security, and excellent technologies. eDirham leverages both infrastructure and a variety of personalized prepaid cards. The eDirham Payment Gateway is Web based, enables entities via e-commerce to perform as middle-ware between the public entities as merchants and the payment gateway, for public revenue collection and settlement, at the lowest fixed rates in the UAE. eDirham PoS devices at all public services counters nationwide accept all internationally issued bank cards if EMV compliant. 3.5 Million e-Government services are delivered monthly through eDirham. UAE federal government services revenue collections through eDirham has exceeded AED 11.3 Billion in early December 2017 cashless and paperless. Please see attached file.
