Human-centric User Experience for online public services
Human-centric UX
The main purpose of the Project is to provide access to electronic public and municipal services for the Russian Federation citizens. This access is implemented according to the best Internet-industry standards and user interface design practices. At the start of the Project in July 2014, the portal did not comply with the set of requirements on comfortability for users, popular services were not converted into electronic form, and functionality for payment and support was significantly reduced for users. At the same time, a severe inconsistence was observed between regional portals and agency web-sites which provided public services, there was no unified principle of portals design and navigation, no corporate style, no promotion, and those factors reduced efficiency of electronic public and municipal services. During the Project implementation, the task was set to eliminate the drawbacks mentioned above and bring public services to a new level of quality and comfortability.
