Information about the project
Citizen Feedback Mechanism
SIGAPKU
Accountability within a health system can help enhance performance and improve service delivery. Few mechanisms exist for citizens to provide feedback about the standard of service and as a result, hospitals and health providers are rarely held accountable for providing high-quality services that meet the needs of the communities they serve. As part of a set of interventions aimed at encouraging citizen involvement, promoting transparency and strengthening accountability, EMAS has developed an SMS and web-based system, Sistem Informasi Gerbang Aspirasi Pelayanan Kesehatan Publik (SIGAPKU) that is used to capture, analyze and address citizen feedback.
