Description of the event
|
As part of its mission to promote digital inclusion and empower the next generation of innovators, Junkbot Robotics, in collaboration with Al Ghurair Foundation, conducted a series of immersive technology workshops across three schools in the UAE: Zayed Education Complex (Sharjah), Al Siji Preliminary and Secondary School (Fujairah), and Emirates National School (Dubai). Held on April 29, May 13, and May 29 respectively, these workshops were designed to celebrate International Girls in ICT Day by engaging female students in hands-on activities involving AI, robotics, and coding. Each session featured inspiring discussions, interactive demos, and real-world tech challenges that encouraged creativity, critical thinking, and leadership in STEM. The initiative aimed to spark curiosity and confidence among young girls to pursue future careers in ICT and contribute meaningfully to the UAE’s innovation-driven future.
