As part of the 2025 International Girls in ICT Day celebration, CAMFED Ghana, in partnership with AmaliTech, hosted “Digital Dreams: Inclusive ICT at St. John’s” at St. John’s Integrated School in Navrongo, Upper East Region. The school offers inclusive education by integrating students with disabilities and mainstream learners, enabling all to pursue their goals.The program engaged mostly girls in interactive sessions led by CAMFED and AmaliTech, highlighting female role models in tech and the transformative power of digital skills. A hearing-impaired staff member from AmaliTech shared his journey into tech, demonstrating tools and opportunities available to persons with disabilities. Another hearing-impaired team member led a practical session in graphic design, reinforcing inclusion through skill-building.The event encouraged rural girls to dream boldly, embrace ICT with confidence, and become part of a truly inclusive digital future.
