Description of the event
|
The concept behind Girls in ICT day is to energize, encourage and empower girls in their current state, in their current school with the power of ICT. The power-to-create is strong within every young person and many need the opportunity to begin creating by use of code. This in turn will open minds to limitless possibilities. The celebrations for this year is planned for three day focusing on coding coupled with mentor conversations. Event planned to be on April 24th 2025. This training is tailored for young girls in high school, and will be in Makueni Tech and Innovation hub space. The goal is to host the three-day event full of intense learning and brainstorming around career opportunities and making the right career choices. Raise awareness about coding and bring coding into hundreds of schools, thousands of homes and in turn transforming student’s lives.
