Description of the event
|
Since 2018, Mongolia has annually celebrated this event. This year, the Communications Regulatory Commission (CRC) of Mongolia, in collaboration with E-Mongolia Academy and the Mongolian Children’s Council, is organizing the “Girls in ICT Day” event with the participation of approximately 200 high school girls. The aim is to empower girls by enhancing their knowledge and skills to learn and grow in the digital environment, protect their rights, and ensure their safety online, while also encouraging their active engagement in addressing challenges related to the country’s digital transformation.During the event, participants will learn about the contributions of women and girls in the ICT sector, gain knowledge and skills to overcome risks in the digital environment, and present visual posters highlighting the challenges girls face during Mongolia’s digital transformation, along with possible solutions.
