Girls in ICT Day is a global initiative celebrated each year to inspire young women to pursue studies and careers in Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) in the Dominican Republic. This year's event is centered around the theme "Empowering the Next Generation of Innovators", highlighting the importance of inclusion, creativity, and leadership in shaping the digital future.The event will feature engaging workshops, inspiring talks by women in tech, interactive tech demos, and networking opportunities designed to ignite curiosity and build confidence in girls interested in the ICT field. By connecting participants with mentors and showcasing diverse career paths, we aim to foster a supportive environment where girls feel empowered to become the tech innovators, problem-solvers, and leaders of tomorrow.Through this initiative, we reaffirm our commitment to closing the gender gap in technology and building a more equitable digital world.
