The International Girls in ICT Day 2025 celebration, co-created by Sahara Consult and Loyola High School, brought together 219 students from both public and private secondary schools — including Loyola High School, Alpha Girls Secondary School, Barbro Johansen Secondary School, Kigogo Secondary School, Mabibo Secondary School, and Canossa Secondary School.Under the theme "Girls in ICT for Inclusive Digital Transformation," the event aimed to inspire and empower young women to pursue careers in STEM and ICT. Students listened, learned, and actively engaged through fireside chats with female tech leaders, presented their own STEM projects, and showcased their talents and innovations.By fostering mentorship, promoting digital literacy, and strengthening the community of girls in STEM, the event created a vibrant and inclusive platform for young women to shape their futures in the digital economy.
