Description of the event
|
Voces ConCiencia, a play on words between conscience and science, will train critical, informed citizens who are aware of their role in society on April 24, 2025, in the municipality of Sopó, Cundinamarca, Colombia, under the slogan "Girls in ICT for an inclusive digital transformation."The Secretariat of Science, Technology, and Innovation of the Government of Cundinamarca, the Secretariat of Science, Technology, and Innovation of the Municipality of Sopó, and the WomenIT community, which promotes female digital talent in science, technology, and innovation, will strengthen the scientific and technological vocations of 80 girls and adolescents between the ages of 10 and 16 through four experiences:Virtual Reality Exploration: stimulates the imagination and understanding of technological phenomena.Augmented Reality Workshop: transforms the way they learn and relate to their environment, integrating the physical and digital worlds.Optical Games with the Science Traveling Suitcase: basic concepts of Optics, such as light, color, and vision. Building with LEGO® bricks for logical and creative thinking: encourages teamwork, problem-solving, and logical thinking.
