Description of the event

At Beijing Haidian Kaiwen academy (KWA), we are celebrating the "UN ITU Girls in ICT day 2025" by running a spectrum of activities and we have renamed the event "UN ITU Girls in STEAM week 2025". Please find below the list of activities:1. First Movie night ("Hidden figures" : 2016)2. Second movie night ("The young woman and the sea" : 2024)3. Student-led (and teacher-led) High school assembly ("UN ITU Girls in STEAM week2025")4. Cross-curricular multimedia project showcase on "The role of women in STEAM subjects and the Digital divide".5. As part of the High school career day, students will visit STEAM related companies.
