Title : Celebrating Girls in ICT: A Look Back at Our Amazing CohortLooking back at Our Amazing Cohort that introduced a dozen of young girls aged between 18 and 23 to python programing. Through our social media platforms, we are bringing stories underscoring the critical need for strong female role models in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) careers.We are have joined the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) through this year's theme to encourage empowerment and leadership development for a more equitable future in the tech ecosystem.At Bingwa Civic Tech Lab, we are envisioning an equitable tech ecosystem for women through the lens of intentionality and representativity among science and technology policymakers to close the gender divide.There are many reasons why Bingwa Civic tech Lab is organizing an exclusive cohort for ladies, because they are powerful forces for good in the digital world. Their education and participation are essential to the development of a fairer, more prosperous world.
