Description of the event
|
Walkathon around historical streets of old city of Madhyapur Thimi with school girls from local schools and community.This will be a fun and engaging way to raise awareness about the importance of girls participation in ICT. Schools are also invited to participate with placards aligning with International Girls in ICT Day objectives and our theme 'Educate her: She can Lead'. There will be competition among schools on design of the placards and overall presentation of schools during the walkathon. Winners will be awarded. Deputy Mayor and of the prominent ladies in ICT will speak to inspire the participants and spread message on ICT education for girls.
