This was an experience-sharing session organized at six underprivileged coastal schools of Bangladesh. The main idea behind this event was to showcase the experiences of a few coastal school girls about their journey with Bangladesh Open Source Network (BdOSN) through several activities. Girls who have participated in different kinds of national Olympiads like Math Olympiads, Science Olympiads and so on for the very first time after receiving programming, robotics, science and mathematics workshops shared their stories with other students. The main objective of this event was to inspire other girls to adopt ICT skills for their future careers. Around 120 students from six coastal areas- Rampal, Tala and Rupsha participated this event. BdOSN is implementing a project to promote STEM & ICT education among these coastal girls to inspire them to pursue digital knowledge and skills for their future career path.
