Description of the event
|
Since 2011, the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) has annually celebrated Girls in ICT, an event aimed at empowering girls through telecommunication and information technology, held every April. This year, in conjunction with the global theme "Leadership" for April 25, 2024, the Telecommunications Regulatory Commission of Mongolia, the Ministry of Digital Development and Communications, the Ministry of Food, Agriculture, and Light Industry, in collaboration with the United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization, will organize "Girls' Leadership" day at the Novotel Hotel on April 17, 2024.The event will play a crucial role in guiding girls studying communication and information technology to utilize information technology for problem-solving in the food and agriculture sector, thereby fostering the generation of practical ideas and solutions. Furthermore, it will serve as a support for female students in food and agriculture to ascend as leaders in the industry, enhancing their IT skills and contributing to industry development.
