While we are fully aware that a fully integrated programme to address such issues are required in Liberia to address the ICT gender Gap -mentioned in many other past events. This year’s Global Theme: focusing on Women Leadership issues as regard ICT and young women, we believe that we are able to begin to empower and inspire young women through A ONE-DAY WORKSHOP FOR ICT DAY 2024. We are proposing a workshop that focuses on leadership for girls in the ICT Space. We believe that this is critical as we have to develop girls as leaders in this space so that they can further empower themselves with the opportunities they gain from ICT training, as well as be able to pass on such knowledge to their spheres of influence. More than this, they need to progress wINDOOR ACTIVITIES ON THE DAY 1. Ground rules.2. Icebreaker/Introduction3. Keynote address: on Young Women’s Leadership and ICT 4. Confidence and Self Esteem5. Health Education information for girls as an example of significance of interpretating date from ICT6. ICT competition among Participating schools 7. Launch/ Refreshment 8. Group photos. 9. Meet and greet /network. 10. Closing off of ICT Day 2024
