Description of the event
|
The event includes two main activities: a virtual talk with 4 local ICT female researchers and professionals with students from primary and secondary schools in the region. This activity will be held at CESGA. In the afternoon, there will be technology demonstrations, workshops and didactical visits to two ICT research centers (Galicia Supercomputing Center an CITIUS - University of Santiago de Compostela) and a discovery route to meet 6 historical and present technology female scientists. Participant students will have to identify these researchers, learn about their work and fill in an special "passport" with this information. When this route is successfully finished, they obtain a prize.
