Description of the event
|
The Inovathon to Combat Domestic Violence Against Girls and Women is a marathon of social innovation, which aims to find solutions to this serious social problem.Since 2020, we have been holding this event and around 700 people who worked at the event as participants, mentors, speakers and sponsors have already been impacted. This event has promoted debate about the different types of violence that a woman suffers throughout her life. From sexual harassment and abuse, DreamGap, physical and emotional violence, political violence, among many other types of violence that a woman suffers throughout her life.The Inovathon to Combat Domestic Violence - Girls & Women, is an inclusive event, but with a limited number of places for men, both for participants and mentors and organizers.The idea of building an inclusive and non-exclusive event has to do with the fact that this is a way of getting more men to put themselves in situations of being minorities and understand how this happens in the work environment and in society.
