Description of the event
|
The Digital Transformation Hub(TheDThub) advocates for policies and organize events that support women's participation and advancement in ICT. In line with this year’s celebration theme ‘leadership’, TheDThub aims at empowering young girls/women between the ages 14years - 28years to pursue careers and leadership roles in the ICT sector. Our focus will be to contribute in bridging the gender gap in STEM fields, promote gender equality, and foster innovation by encouraging these young girls/women to excel in technology-related fields and assume leadership positions within them. As part of our initiative the young women will be involved in mentorship programs, educational outreach, networking opportunities.Activities include a 10km awareness Walk, a demonstration from participating schools and organisations in Robotics, AI, VR and E-Sports, Presentation on E-Sports Career Opportunities, Robotics and AI by industry experts. The event climax will be presentation of Awards for best five demonstrations by the participating schools.
