🌟 Introducing Our Esteemed Guest Speaker: Madam Letty Chiwara 🌟Madam Letty is the UN Women Country Representative to Malawi. She has extensive leadership, representational and administrative experience, both in the public service and the UN system. Prior to her reassignment to Malawi, she was the UN Women Representative to Ethiopia, AUC and ECA. Madam Letty has represented UN Women in several Inter-governmental fora including at the Africa Union, SADC, IGAD and ECOWAS. Previously, she led various UN Programmes in Africa, Asia and the Pacific Region, Latin America and the Caribbean and East and Central Europe. She has also served in various capacities in Government including as Senior Town Planning Officer in the Ministry of Local Government in Zimbabwe.The Girls in ICT Summit has been organized by TechPearl Malawi

Kettie is currently the Deputy Director of Information and Communication Technologies in the Department of Human Resource Management and Development for the Malawi Government, bringing with her a wealth of experience and expertise.From her role as Chief ICT Officer in the Ministry of Education, where she led initiatives supporting ICT in education, to her tenure in the Malawi Public Service, Kettie has been instrumental in driving the implementation of ICT projects aimed at enhancing government services.Her impact extends beyond borders, having worked on various ICT projects with different government departments, including the Ministry of Local Government and the Ministry of Justice.As a lecturer and Coordinator for Advanced Diploma Courses at the National College of Information Technology (NACIT), Kettie has also contributed to shaping the next generation of ICT professionals.Academically accomplished, Kettie holds an MSc in Information Technology from Amity University in India, a BSc in Management Information Systems from the Malawi University of Business and Applied Studies (MUBAS), and a Diploma in Business Information Systems from MUBAS. Her dedication to continuous learning is evident in her aspiration for a PhD in Information Systems.
