Description of the event
|
Edutech Club through the Women and Girls in Technology (WaGiTech) program will host a Blogging Symposium - an inspiring event to celebrate the International Girls in ICT Day and will also run a Blogging competition. The event aims to empower women and girls in technology by providing them with a platform to learn and showcase their blogging skills and creativity. And will be an official launch of the year-long Edutech club program(s) and activities to contribute to bridging the gender divide in the ICT sector and achieving women empowerment while accelerating progress towards the Sustainable Development Goals 4,5 and 8. Submissions will have to blog about: A journey mastering a new skill in a week. "Competition will be judged on Creativity, Clarity and Organization, Depth of Reflection, Impact and Inspiration and Writing Quality: Prizes will be sought for participants and awarded based on the judging criteria mentioned above, recognizing outstanding creativity, clarity, reflection, impact, and writing quality in the blog posts.
