Description of the event
|
In this year 2024 TCRA has planned to commemorate the International Girls in ICT Day "Leadership" by conducting various prior activities and a stakeholders gathering on the last day of the event 25th April 2024.The following activities will be conducted:1) Hackathon with girls’ students from Universities and Colleges. This has already been done from 20 until 22 March 2024.2) Secondary schools training sessions which is ongoing now.3) Primary schools training sessions. This has already been done from 12 until 14 March 2024.4) Issuing awards to girls with best performance in STEM subjects from NECTA CSEE and ACSEE 2023 results. 5) Organize exhibition to show case various digital solutions designed to address different challenges in the community. 6) Issuing awards to best ideas/projects that will have impact to society.7) Organize a gathering on the last day of the event 25th April 2024 where women/girls’ speakers will be invited for the inspiration talks with Girls students in line with the theme “Leadership”.
