The Commonwealth Secretariat aims to leverage the International Day for Girls in ICT 2024 to further its commitment to gender equality and the empowerment of girls through technology. The objective of this year’s webinar is to inspire national and global discussions on enhancing the inclusion of girls in ICT education, policy-making, and the broader technology ecosystem. These discussions will also feed into related topics at the forthcoming Commonwealth Women’s Forum in Apia - 2024, ensuring that the momentum gained through the #EmpowerTech campaign contributes to broader efforts to advance gender equality in the technology sector.
