The African Union International Center for Girl and Women’s Education and ImpactHER are organizing a Webinar on the occasion of International Girls in ICT Day under the theme, “Bridging the Gender Gap in STEAM education: Leveraging Female Leadership in the wake of AI”. This theme aligns with the 2024 focus of the ITU around "Leadership: To underscore the critical need of female role models in STEAM careers".This webinar brings together experts and female leaders in the ICT and STEAM fields to seek ways through which stakeholders at the intersections of education, leadership, and ICT can seek ways to leverage female leaders to get more women into STEAM and ICT fields.The session will also provide a platform for experts to examine the role of AI in bridging or widening the gender digital gap and how the advent of Artificial Intelligence can be used to champion more women taking up studies and careers in STEAM fields.
