Introduction:Information and communication technology (ICT) is growing rapidly, with innovations and advancements emerging every day. However, the industry remains male-dominated, with women significantly underrepresented. To address this gender gap, it is important to encourage girls to pursue careers in STEM and ICT and provide them with the necessary support and resources to succeed. This proposal outlines a plan to support a Girls in ICT event aimed at inspiring and empowering young girls to consider careers in STEM/ICT.OBJECTIVES:To increase awareness among girls of the opportunities available in ICT.To provide girls with role models and mentors in the ICT field.To encourage girls to pursue education and training in ICT.To create a supportive community of girls interested in ICT.The Girls in ICT event will include a range of activities designed to achieve the above objectives, including: 1. Keynote speeches by women leaders in the ICT industry, who will sharetheir experiences and insights on career paths in ICT; 2. Interactive workshops and activities, where girls will have theopportunity to learn new ICT skills and explore different areas of theindustry;
