Feeling great Honour to announce consecutive fifth year round 5 of celebrating International Girls in ICT Day event on April 25th, 2024. The theme of this year's event is "Leadership”focusing on empowering young girls in the field of Information and Communication Technology. STEM education plays a crucial role in empowering women and girls by providing them with the knowledge and skills needed to thrive in fields traditionally dominated by men. By encouraging women and girls to pursue STEM subjects, we can promote gender equality, break down stereotypes, and increase diversity in these industries. STEM education opens up a world of opportunities for women and girls, allowing them to contribute to innovation, research, and technological advancements. It helps bridge the gender gap, promotes inclusivity, and empowers women to pursue fulfilling and successful careers in STEM fields. In addition to celebrating International Girls in ICT Day, we will also be launching our project WIFI (Women in ICT Frontier Initiative) at our own in partnership with 5 countries and 5 respective organizations from Pakistan, South Africa, Ghana, Uganda and Bangladesh with a brilliant team of Gudrun Frank Ivy Lawson Tessa Taylor Fozia Ihsan Namyalo Rebecca aimed at bridging the gender gap in the ICT industry and empowering women to excel in this field.
