This online workshop will permit high school students to understand the current advances of AI, practice with AI tools, and discuss AI biases. It targets high school students, teachers and anyone interested in learning more about AI.

mJangale is a coding school established in Senegal by the startup SenMobile. It introducesyoung people to primary to high school in STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering Art,and Mathematics). It also targets university students, teachers, and professionals withcustom programs. Its workshops include digital literacy, mobile and web development,digital marketing, programming with Python and P5.js, discovery of Scratch, drones androbots’ manipulation, data science, cybersecurity, and Fashion Tech.mJangale has trained more than 5,000 young people (~50% young women) throughoutSenegal, in collaboration with Goethe-Institut Dakar, the Les Enfants d’Abord NGO,UNICEF, Free, Sonatel, WIA (Women In Africa) and various institutions.
