H. E. Saša Dalipagic
Saša Dalipagic was born on 20 May 1950 in Kakanj. He attended primary and secondary school (Gymnasium) in Mostar and graduated from the Road Transport College in Zagreb in 1975 earning the degree as road transport engineer.
He commenced his work experience in 1976 in HIT Mostar Company, OOUR Transport, as an apprentice and later worked as Technical Director and General Manager of OOUR (Basic Organisation of Associated Labour). After merging the HIT and HEPOC companies into joint APRO System he was appointed Director of APRO OOUR “TRANSPORT”.
1992 – 1997 he was employed with the Ministry of Interior Affairs in Mostar as Road Traffic Accident Expert.
1997 – 2015 until he was appointed Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Communications and Transportof Bosnia and Herzegovina he worked with the Ministry of Transport and Communications of the Herzegovina-Neretva Canton as Inspector for Road Traffic and Supervision of the Construction and Maintenance of Road Infrastructure. He has also been engaged as Traffic Court-Appointed Expert, having completed in that capacity a large number of expert reports for the courts in this Canton.
In addition to his professional career he was actively engaged in sport activities, first as a basketball player and coach and a member of basketball forums in Bosnia and Herzegovina, and later as one of the founders and member of Presidency of the Basketball Association of Herceg-Bosna and the Basketball Association of Bosnia and Herzegovina as well as the men’s and women’s basketball club Zrinjski respectively.
He is married to his wife Nada, a Lawyer, and has two daughters – elder Danijela, Prosecutor in the Herzegovina-Neretva Caanton and younger Jelena, also a Lawyer.
